Lonely Index Result Meaning
How to read your loneliness score bands and what to do next.
Score bands
Your total score (0-100) is grouped into six bands. Lower is better.
- Hardly Lonely (0-20): solid baseline of connection and self regulation; keep routines that maintain depth.
- Low (21-35): occasionally affected by context; watch digital drift and expectation spikes.
- Mid-low (36-50): noticeable in certain weeks or settings; one dimension is usually driving.
- Moderate (51-65): multiple drivers are active; pair quick wins with a one week plan.
- High (66-80): daily functioning may be impacted; prioritize one anchor relationship and habit.
- Severe (81-100): consider professional support; use the plan to regain rhythm safely.
What a change of plus or minus five means
Use plus or minus five as a rule of thumb for meaningful change, especially when the same direction appears across two consecutive weeks.
- Look for a matching direction in at least one dimension, such as the expectation gap dropping.
- Retest every two to four weeks to confirm trend rather than day to day noise.
- For short sprints, use two micro tasks per day that each take three to ten minutes.
